Who I am

I'm Zach Senft — a software engineer who has built payment systems and automations at fintech companies including Visa and Flex. That's infrastructure that has to be fast, secure, and correct, because real money moves through it every day. It's the same standard I bring to every website I build.

I earned a Master's in Computer Science studying at Case Western Reserve University and Johns Hopkins University — done while competing as a student-athlete. If you want a crash course in deadlines, discipline, and performing under pressure, that's a good one.

Senft Web Studio started as websites I built for local businesses on the side, and I couldn't stop — not because it was easy, but because the need was real: good businesses losing jobs to worse ones, just because the worse ones showed up better online. Now it's where I bring real engineering to the kind of local service businesses — contractors, studios, trades, local professionals — that form the backbone of a city and deserve more than a $20/month template.

Senft Web Studio is a brand operated by ZSV LLC, a Georgia limited liability company.

Why local

A roofer in Marietta isn't competing with roofers in Miami. A dance studio in East Cobb is fighting for parents in East Cobb. Local search is its own game — one that most web designers don't understand because they've never had to win it for someone.

Every site I build is built to win in the specific market it serves: local business schema, fast performance, NAP consistency, Google Business Profile guidance. Not bolted on as an afterthought — wired in from day one.

How I work

You work directly with me — not an account manager, not an overseas team, not a project coordinator passing messages between departments. I design it, build it, launch it, and answer for it. If something is wrong, you call me.

  • Two-week build — one week to build, one week for your revisions, then live.
  • Transparent pricing upfront — no scope creep, no surprise invoices.
  • Monthly plans that fit your budget, with no long-term contracts.
  • Direct communication — you get my number, not a ticket system.

The philosophy

義理 — Giri

Japanese: duty, obligation, honor

In Japanese culture, giri is the felt responsibility to do right by someone you've taken on — a social contract that runs deeper than anything you sign. It's why a craftsman loses sleep over a joint that isn't quite right, even when no one else would notice.

That's the standard I hold myself to. When you hire Senft Web Studio, your business becomes an obligation I'm honor-bound to fulfill. Not a ticket in a queue. Not a line item on a spreadsheet. Your reputation becomes mine.

I take on fewer clients than I could because that standard requires it. If I can't give your project the attention it deserves, I won't take it.

Results over deliverables

A beautiful site that doesn't generate leads is a failure. I measure success by whether your phone rings.

Simple over clever

The best solution is the one that works without explanation. No overengineered stacks, no unnecessary complexity.

Honest over comfortable

If your budget, timeline, or expectations don't align with what it takes to do this right, I'll tell you.
